Reduce your toxic load…

If you don't live in a smog-free environment, at least avoid rooms filled with cigarette smoke (which is easier to do in Toronto since the ban on smoking in restaurants and bars), breathing in traffic fumes (carbon monoxide) from high traffic areas. Acquaint yourself with the ‘smog advisory’ and ‘air quality index’ and only exercise outside when the rating is low. Exercise indoors in air conditioning when air quality is poor and the smog advisory is high.
