Change is good…

When you embark on any training program be sure to introduce change. The body is a very smart mechanism and will soon accommodate to the same program you’ve been doing religiously 3 times a week for the past 3 years. If you’re feeling stuck and not seeing any change in your body, try changing your program. This might look like changing the form of exercise (yoga/pilates/running) or the manner in which you perform the exercise (faster/longer/amount). To ‘trick’ your body, introduce change every 3-4 weeks so your body doesn’t get too comfortable with what you’re throwing at it.
